Another post from my email, which will probably be much more regular now that I can only be online twice a day for 30 minutes. I can do email pretty much whenever I want.

So I tried a different recipe for hair shampoo. It's got lemon juice, water, four, and mayonnaise in it. I tried it yesterday and it worked! It just doesn't later, so you really have to work it into your hair. I told David that I used homemade shampoo and he said that he was really happy that I'm being so frugal and trying to save as much money as I can but I don't need to go that far. :/ Oh well! I was trying to find things that were all natural, guess that idea is thrown out! He does like that I've been cooking in the crock pot as much as 3 nights a week! That saves so much time and actually money too because I'm not using the oven as much. I think I'll be using it a lot during the summer because then I won't be heating the house up with the oven on.

One of my classmates (from high school) had her baby this week. I guess she didn't know the sex until she had "baby A" because that's what they were calling the baby on facebook. She had a girl and named her Lexi. I guess that's a pretty name, but I wouldn't choose it. Although, people are probably going to say the same thing about the names we choose for our children.
Speaking of babies, I am so set on having our children at home. I really hope that I don't have an at risk pregnancy (whenever I do get pregnant). I just love the idea of being home while having my child, without nurses all around and having to pay a lot for having a baby! There's a website called the business of being born and that's exactly what childbirth is, the baby and the mother's body know exactly what to do. A lot of people will ask me "well, what if something goes wrong?" and I have to say "I'll put that in God's hands." I also love the idea of "rooming in" with your child. I think there is too much of the idea of the independent child, because I don't think children should be independent. They are to be dependent of their parents, that's what parents are for. Anyway, I should probably stop here before I get into too much of a rant. Haha!

So, this is actually being posted from my email because I've abused the internet and now I have time restrictions because my husband is amazing and is holding me accountable. So I will actually be posting more on my blog because of it, as well as sending more emails and calling people more often (really that's such a better way to communicate!)

I'm kind of on this natural everything kick (as far as products for my body). I've been using my natural bar of soap I bought from Wunderbar Soaps from the Shongo General Store. Yesterday I used it on my hair and it washed fairly well. I'm going to attempt to wash my hair with baking soda today. I've heard that it takes a while for your hair to get used to it (like a couple of days). Tara inspired me to try it because she asked for a hair gel recipe and she's been using the baking soda recipe as well! I was going to try the homemade hairspray too, which I guess is just lemon juice boiled down and then with a little water, you spritz it on your hair, the only negative is that you have to use it within a week! Hmm. Anyway, I'm going to switch out the laundry!

Random thoughts!

So, here I am sitting at the kitchen table, once again on my computer! Meh, I do need to work on how much time I spend on this thing, it drives me nuts because I know I could be doing so many other things. For example, I could be finishing my menu for the week and the grocery list. So far, tomorrow we're having ranch chicken and on Thursday we're having chimichangas. Tonight, I'm going to Alfred for a birthday party and David is having minute steaks. :( I feel bad for leaving him behind to go have some girl time but he doesn't usually have guy time (because I'm with him and I enjoy the guy stuff he does, haha!). He would rather spend the time by himself anyway.
So, I've been trying to make myself more Christ like, a few weeks ago I gave away 8 movies that were dog poo in the brownie movies. If you want to know what they are here is a link. I'm finding myself ridding my life of things I know Jesus would not expose himself to! Anyway, I think I will be doing a lot more of that. Even stuff like borrowing friend's cds and copying them. That's considered stealing (no matter how much the artist makes). I think the Lord is doing a work in me so that I can be an example to the unsaved and my future children.

Here's some photos from the past week or so!

This was the conference we went to in Liverpool NY last weekend, it was so amazing, but, only because God was so present!

This was our group minus I think one person, well, and Matthew was in it too! What a great group of students we took, they've changed sooo much!

This is what happens when someone falls on the rest of the group, it's called the domino effect, lol!
